In this presentation, I will show you how nice 1D is when you
wish to achieve good (not astrophysical) agreement between theory and simulations ! Focusing on the "sheet" model – one-dimensional system in which particles attract each other independently of their separation – I predict the system long-term evolution using kinetic theory and compare these predictions to N-body measurements. |
