« A small tale for big black holes : Formation and growth at high-redshift » |
Warren Massonneau |
How are black holes in the high-redshift Universe able to become supermassive? This is what a tiny black hole wonders about, all day all night, in hopes of one day, to be as big as its mind can imagine. Let me embark you on a journey of unresolved questions, abundant theories and suspenseful mysteries (okay, I might be overselling it..), as this tiny being seeks answers from its elders. I will try to cover the ground from small black holes seeds to more massive ones, passing by my topic of research: the super-Eddington regime. I will unveil some recent results to help this tiny black hole put on weight. |
