| The interpretation of ultraviolet spectra of young star-forming galaxies at high-redshift is still challenging. Several population synthesis models have been developed to interpret the spectral energy distributions of these high-redshift objects in terms of physical parameters of the stars and gas. In this talk, I will present you the calibration that we are doing to these models comparing the Simple Stellar Population models to young nearby star clusters using absorption-line indices in this spectral region. I will also show you the approach that we are developing to extend this method to the analysis of the spectra of high redshift galaxies. |
