| In supergravity models, inflation usually implies the existence of additional scalar fields, whose couplings have to be carefully chosen. Recently nonlinear supergravity models were constructed with fewer or no additional scalars. We review the simplest inflationary models in supergravity, the recent supergravity constructions called nilpotent (or sometimes de Sitter) supergravities and their applications to inflation. |
