« Redshift-Space Distortions and Perturbation Theory » |
R. Scoccimarro |
Galaxy redshift surveys probe the three-dimensional distribution of large-scale structure in the Universe, but do so through distorted means due to spectroscopic redshifts being sensitive to dynamical velocities sourced by inhomogeneities on top of the smooth Hubble flow. This however presents a unique opportunity to use this velocity information to probe the nature of gravity on the largest cosmological scales. I will discuss the theoretical challenge of predicting clustering in redshift space including recent advances using perturbation theory. |
