« The geodesic light-cone coordinates, an adapted system for (weak) lensing calculations. » |
F. Nugier |
Lensing is going to be a major probe for cosmology in the next decade. As the experiments will grow in precision, one expects to encounter phenomena questioning our understanding of the theory and hence should continue to develop/reformulate this latter one. Relying on some successes of the so-called geodesic light-cone coordinates, when it comes to describing light-propagated observables, I will show that lensing can also be described in these coordinates and that the expressions of lensing quantities are given by simple and rather elegant formulas. I will try to illustrate our calculations, if enough time, in the case of a Lemaître-Tolman-Bondi model as observed by an off-centered observer. |
