In the first part of the talk, I will review some aspects of the
EFT approach to the two-body bound state in General Relativity. Then I will focus on the logarithmic terms in the gaude-invariant Energy function. Such logarithms derive from non-local contributions related to the interlpay between radiation zone and near zone physics and, by exploiting several apparently unrelated properties of the binary system, it is possible to compute them at very high post-Newtonian order. |
