« A self-consistent model for the Galactic CR, antiproton and positron spectra » |
D. Semikoz |
In this talk I will present the escape model of Galactic cosmic rays. This model explains the measured cosmic ray spectra of individual groups of nuclei from TeV to EeV energies. It predicts an early transition to extragalactic cosmic rays, in agreement with recent Auger data. The escape model also explains the soft neutrino spectrum $1/E^{2.5}$ found by IceCube in concordance with Fermi gamma-ray data.
I will show how that within the same model one can explain the excess of positrons and antiprotons above 20 GeV found by PAMELA and AMS-02, the discrepancy in the slopes of the spectra of cosmic ray protons and heavier nuclei in the TeV-PeV energy range and the plateau in CR dipole anisotropy in the 2-50 TeV energy range by adding the effects of a 2 million year old nearby supernova. |
