| The GRB explosion picture will be reviewed. I will then discuss two phenomena specific for GRBs: (1) pair creation in the leading gamma-ray front and (2) decay of ejected neutrons. Both affects the fireball dynamics and the afterglow mechanism at radii up to 10^17 cm. |
