« Non-Singular Cosmological Models » |
F. Falciano |
Nowadays we can consider the inflationary paradigm as being part of the standard cosmological model. Inflation can be understood as a success in the sense that it solved, or at least smoothed the problem, of some key conceptual cosmological issues. Notwithstanding, on observational grounds that is not a closed issue, and even if it were, there is still the singularity problem that is not addressed by inflation. Non-singular models can be constructed which can present some quite new interesting features. In this presentation, I propose to describe two completely different scenarios presenting some new feature that comes from the minisuperspace metric quantization. We show that quantum effects can be responsible for creation (annihilation) of matter (exotic matter ? < 0) in a perfect fluid model, and if one consider a free scalar-field model, the quantum effects can also produce an inflationary like phase but in an eternal universe. |
