| Direct Detection experiments aim to detect evidence of Dark Matter in the galactic halo scattering with nuclei on Earth. I will review the basic principles of such experiments and recent progress which has been made in exploring the Dark Matter parameter space, along with challenges for the detection of Dark Matter which will be faced in the future. |
