« Extrasolar planets frequency beyond the snow-line of low-mass stars as revealed by gravitational microlensing » |
Arnaud Cassan |
I will review the main results obtained on extrasolar planets using the gravitational microlensing technique. Microlensing is ideally suited to detect exoplanets ranging from very massive Jovian planets down to Earth-mass planets with typical orbits of 0.5 to 10 astronomical units. In particular, I will discuss very recent results on the abundance of exoplanets derived from combining microlensing sensitivity and detections. |
