« A singular perturbative approach of gravitational lensing » |
Christophe Alard |
I will show that singular perturbative theory is a natural framework to analyze strong gravitational lenses. In this approach the description of the lens is minimal, model independent, and unaffected by the usual degeneracy of modelling. Using this new approach the problem of lens inversion can be reformulated. I will illustrate this new lens inversion approach with an interesting case of gravitational lens. Finally I will present a statistical method based on the singular perturbative expansion to evaluate the contribution of dark matter substructures to the mass budget of galaxies halo's. |
