« Observing Galaxy mass assembly at high redshift »

Mark Dickinson

Over the last 15 years or so, an increasingly rich set of observations and analysis have traced the history of star formation and stellar mass assembly in galaxies over a broad swath of cosmic time, since the Universe was less than a billion years old to the present day. I will review some of this work, highlighting some of the uncertainties and issues that have arisen and which are the subject of recent investigation.
