Résumé / Abstract Seminaire_IAP
« Observing Dark Energy with the Next Generation of Galaxy Surveys »

Ofer Lahav
Department of Physics and Astronomy, University College London (Londres, Royaume-Uni)

The talk will review the history of Dark Energy (tracing it back to Newton!) and it will then discuss the design and forecasting for measuring properties of Dark Energy and Dark Matter from new deep surveys, in particular the "Dark Energy Survey", Euclid and WFMOS. The effect of accuracy of photometric redshifts on the cosmological results will be assessed.
