« CMB anisotropies: status and perspectives » |
François R. Bouchet |
The scientific team of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP, a NASA satellite) has recently released their first 3 years of data together with a series of (long and rich) scientific papers describing the analyses made and the results obtained. I will present those results and comment on their cosmological significance. I will then describe what to expect next, and in particular what further knowledge we should gain from Planck, an ESA satellite which will be launched early 2008, as well as what should be left to its potential successor. |
