National centre for space studies
The IAP maintains close links with the “National centre for space studies” (Centre National d’Études Spatiales, CNES) in the form of:
- annual or multi-year grants for the reduction and use of data from space observatories,
- support for the development of space projects (development of algorithms, models and scientific communities).
These participations take the form of research support, infrastructure funding, or staff salary.
In addition, CNES co-finances some doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the IAP.
