Research groups
Researchers of the institute are gathered into topical research groups and focus on related or complementary subjects of study by using common tools for data analysis, interpretation, and modeling. These groups coordinate the scientific life of the institute and, together, they define the major directions of research. Researchers within the same group share the basic support they get from the CNRS and the UPMC. They exchange and discuss ideas through regular meetings such as journal-clubs.
