In order to mobilize broad and varied skills, researchers at the IAP work in collaboration with colleagues from other laboratories, who come to IAP for short (one week), medium (one month) or long-term visits (sabbatical year). When these collaborations are sustainable, researchers from French or foreign laboratories can obtain the status of associate researcher, with dual affiliation to their laboratory and the IAP, which allows them to benefit from the institute’s infrastructures during any visit necessary for the research project.
